Describe two kinds of regularities exhibited by the solar system that the Nebular Theory accounts for
What will be an ideal response?
One of the major regularities in the solar system has to do with the motions of the large bodies of the solar system. Namely, heavenly bodies generally have elliptical orbits; planets' orbit in the same direction (counterclockwise); planets (except Pluto) orbit in the ecliptic plane; and planets and their moons (mostly) rotate and revolve in the same direction. The other regularity the Nebular Theory explains is the separation of the planets into two basic types: terrestrial and Jovian.
