What are the benefits of limiting the maximum number of DHCP users?

What will be an ideal response?

The maximum number of DHCP users (sometimes called DHCP leases) can be restricted. The maximum number of DHCP users should be limited to the number of authorized devices on the network. That is, if there are four network devices then the maximum number of DHCP users should be set to four. If an attacker is able to breach the wireless security protections and gain access to the network, he would not be leased an IP address because the maximum would have already been distributed. This step, coupled with changing the starting IP address, may deter a novice attacker from entering the network.
