Discuss why privacy protection rights are important for workers

Please provide the best answer for the statement.

First, privacy protects us. Privacy lets us protect information about ourselves that could embarrass or shame us, and it protects us from having others interfere in our lives merely because they disagree with our values. Privacy also lets us protect those we love from knowledge about ourselves that might hurt them, and it protects our reputation. Privacy also empowers and enables us. It enables us to have intimacy, which lets us develop personal relationships of love, friendship, and trust. It enables us to maintain confidential relationships with professionals such as doctors and lawyers and allows us to maintain private social roles that are distinct form our public roles. Privacy enables us to determine our self-identify by letting us control the way that society in general and selected individuals will look at us.
