Explain the concept of radicalization and describe how one becomes radicalized.

What will be an ideal response?

Answer may vary. To become radicalized means to learn, accept, and believe in extreme ideas which promote the legitimacy of violent actions to accomplish political ends. Radicalization is often associated with Islamic extremists who utilize a wide variety of method to spread their message and win supporters for their cause. Traditionally, people have been used to spread the message, but increasingly, technology is being used. Social media and the Internet have become a forum for radicals and a place to share propaganda videos, which has led to radicalization.
