The first sentence should include information that identifies the people in the shot and gives readers an idea of what they are doing without being overly obvious in the description. The second sentence is intended to explain to viewers why the image matters and to enhance the value of the shot. It may contain some context on why the people in the image are doing what they are doing, or why the subjects are being featured in a news story.
