Briefly explain some things a speaker should keep in mind when coming up with an appropriate attention-getter.
What will be an ideal response?
The speaker should keep in mind the topic and the tone of the subject. Humor may

whether the audience is familiar with the topic. Finally, the speaker should also consider
himself or herself. If the speaker is not comfortable with humor, a formal presentation
may not be the best time to try be funny.
