What will be an ideal response?

McAdams (1999) describes three parallel levels of personality structure and function, each of which contains a variety of personality constructs: dispositional traits, personal concerns, and life narrative. Dispositional traits are aspects of personality that are consistent across contexts. People can be compared and rated along a continuum of these characteristics ranging from low to high. Personal concerns are people's goals and concerns in life. These typically reflect the stage of life a person is in at a particular moment. Life narrative consists of the aspects of personality that pull everything together. The creation of one's identity is the goal of this level.
