What is the difference between excusable, justifiable, and criminal homicide?
What will be an ideal response?
With excusable homicide, there is no guilt. These are accidental or unintentional killings. Homosexual males will most likely be denied acceptance into a domestic violence shelter as they are typically limited to female victims. Justifiable homicides are judged to be acceptable because they occur in defense of life or property. Criminal homicide is, more specifically, “the purposeful, knowing, reckless, or negligent killing of one human being by another.” Thus, any death resulting from injuries pursuant to a fight, quarrel, argument, or commission of a crime falls under the umbrella of criminal homicide.
