What were some of the distinctive characteristics shared by all of the societies of the Americas?

What will be an ideal response?

All of these societies had little scientific knowledge, widespread belief in magic, toiled on the land to acquire the necessities of life, and endured hard, short lives. There
were no large domesticated animals, which meant that the ability to move around was more difficult than for Europeans, Africans, and Asians, who had horses. The peoples of the Americas were also relatively isolated as far as trade with other regions, which meant they could not build up immunity to certain diseases, which led to mass population die-offs with the arrival of Europeans to the Americas.
