Describe the difference between some forms of “intrusion” that are regarded as acceptable in the workplace, and some that are seen as a violation of personal liberty.

What will be an ideal response?

Organizations have a legitimate right to expect not to be the victim of theft by their
employees. Playing Internet games on the office computer, for example, or making
extended personal calls on the company telephone would be considered a misuse of
employer resources, and monitoring those resources is regarded as acceptable. But
unreasonable searching of bags and clothing could be seen as a violation of personal
liberty.
