Compare and contrast the flipped classroom and the traditional classroom. What are the potential advantageous of a flipped classroom?

What will be an ideal response?

Simply described, the flipped classroom gets its name from the distribution of classroom presentations as “homework”—what students need to examine before coming to class. Unlike the traditional classroom, class time is then spent solving homework-type problems or responding to in-depth questions as students wrestle with the content from the presentations they examined on their own. Often, class time is spent interacting with peers in small groups as teachers exchange ideas with students about their pressing questions and difficulties with the content. Hence, the name, the flipped classroom: homework problem solving and question answering become class time and presentations by teachers using cutting edge technology become homework.
