Why is climate change a political issue in the United States?
What will be an ideal response?
There are probably a variety of reasons but some are that scientists are not unanimous in their conclusion that global warming is caused primarily by human activities. Scientists are seldom unanimous in their conclusions on anything but in this case, the cause of climate change could have serious economic effects on industrialized countries like the United States. If we acknowledge that we are major contributors to the problem then we will have to take major, costly steps to reduce our impact.
