Explain how both undercuring and overcuring can cause cracking on removal from the compression molding process

What will be an ideal response?

Undercuring will not allow all the cross linking to occur and the part will not be as strong. Overcuring may cause the resin to degrade and loose its strength. Some of the probable causes from over curing or undercuring include: external blisters, marks from ejector pins, internal voids, sticking, brittle parts, and cracking on ejection.
