What is the Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) and what is its role?

What will be an ideal response?

The Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) is the IOC’s method of deciding disputes related to participants in
the Olympic Movement without the necessity of having to resort to national and other international courts.
The CAS allows disputes to be resolved much more quickly that way. All participants are subject to this private court.
