What is the relationship between crime and globalization?

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Varies. Although globalization has been beneficial to most nations, it also brought opportunities for international acts of crime. Globalization or the expansion of governmental and criminal networks has allowed for crime to easily occur on an international level. International political power is an avenue for criminal activity to spread across different nations and go unnoticed. The crimes linked to globalization include money laundering, human trafficking, sex trafficking, and smuggling illegal drugs and weapons across multiple nations. The Internet and digital communities have made it much easier for the globalization of crime. The dark web provides opportunities for drugs to be bought internationally. Packages containing drugs or guns can be flown or shipped between two or more countries.
