Explain how the purpose of the correlational research strategy differs from the experimental research strategy

The goal of the correlational research strategy is to establish that a relationship exists between variables and to describe the nature of the relationship. Unlike the experimental strategy, the correlational strategy does not attempt to explain the relationship and makes no attempt to manipulate the variables.
