Possible nutritional complications include abdominal discomfort and pain, diarrhea (with oral solutions). Hypokalemia, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, hypocalcemia, hypomagnesemia, hyperglycemia and impairment of glucose tolerance, dehydration.
