Why is ambiguity a problem for programming languages?

What will be an ideal response?

Ambiguity is a problem for programming languages because it is extraordinarily difficult for a computer to tell
what is meant by a phrase or a sentence from its context. Therefore translating an ambiguous language into machine code is
very difficult.
