Explain the purpose of a 504 plan

What will be an ideal response?


It refers to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and is used to specify services a student should receive when he is considered to have a functional disability, even if the student is not considered disabled by IDEA standards and therefore do not qualify for special education and related services under IDEA.
