systems – digestive, endocrine, etc. Child remembering states by first letter – all the "a" states.
3. Elaboration – finding a connection between two or more items. Lincoln – railroad, Civil War.
4. Mnemonic – a memory trick. The method of loci or an acronym (Roy G. Biv).
5. Systematic Searching – actively searching for a to-be-remembered item or event. Might use
acoustical or date. Sounds like or happened in 1990.
