What suggestions would you have at this point concerning his nutrition? Consider such factors as inactivity, Ca, trace minerals, fluid, and fiber

Two Cal HN is too high in protein and is very concentrated. Now that he has recovered, his fluid requirement is about 1 cc per kcal. He is receiving half of that and no fiber to help with laxation. His inactivity is causing calcium to come out of the bones. Since he is gaining weight, his Harris-Benedict BEE estimation is of little value; he obviously needs fewer kcals. I would therefore look for an enteral formula that is less concentrated, that has less protein, is not high in calcium, and contains fiber.
