What is a filter? How are filters applied? What are some examples of preset filters? What are the ways in which they can be used?
What will be an ideal response?
A filter is a special graphic effect, such as a drop shadow, you can apply to movie clips, buttons, and text. Filters are applied using the Filters section of the Property inspector, which includes preset filters such as drop shadow, blur, glow, and bevel. Multiple filters can be applied to one object, and each filter has properties you can set to adjust the filter's effect on the object. In the Property inspector, you can enable or disable a filter, reset a filter's properties, and delete a filter. You can also copy the filters and properties that have been applied to one object and apply them to another object. Or, you can save a set of filters and properties as a new preset filter, and then apply the saved preset filter to objects in other Flash documents.
