What will be an ideal response?

According to the authors, several urban legends in African countries have contributed to the rise female genital mutilation. First, girls who are not circumcised are said to be unable to bare children. Second, if the clitoris is present during childbirth it will kill the baby. Third, women who are not circumcised are unclean and are more promiscuous than those who are.
