Explain etiology of disease
Etiology is the description and identification of the cause of disease. Etiology can be narrowed to a specific causative agent or may be a combination of factors that influence or change disease development. Influential factors could be age, nutritional status, or other coexisting diseases. Etiology of disease can be categorized as genetic, acquired, multifactorial, idiopathic, or iatrogenic.
