Describe some key features that make tropical rain forests the most productive biome

What will be an ideal response?

Tropical rain forests have abundant, regular rainfall, a warm temperature, and little variation in day length, which allows photosynthesis to continue year-round. Of all land biomes, tropical forests have the greatest primary production. Per unit area, they remove more carbon from the atmosphere than other forests or grasslands.

Tropical rain forest is also the most structurally complex and species-rich biome.
