Describe a book talk
What will be an ideal response?
Book talks are short introductions that readers give to introduce others to particular books and excite them about reading. Like previews for upcoming films in a theater, book talks can create interest and motivation. A book talk can include reading a small sample and giving a little background without revealing too much of the plot. It can also include personal responses to the book or entice children with a few cliffhanger questions.
