There are many ways to "make more time in a day." Identify at least five methods people can use to make better use of the 24 hours they have, and explain why they seem to give people more time in their day.
What will be an ideal response?
Since there are only 24 hours in a day, people need to learn what to do to accomplish more in their days. One thing they can do is to plan their time using a calendar. If you have a class marked on your calendar from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., then you know you will be able to make it to work 30 minutes later, or at 2 p.m. Without knowing your class schedule, you might commit to a 1 p.m. work shift and not show up until 2 p.m. You wouldn't have that job for long!
Another option is to leave time in your day for the unexpected. If you schedule every moment of the day and a coworker needs time with you to discuss a pressing problem, you won't be able to do without affecting the rest of your schedule. It doesn't make you look good.
A third way is to get up 15 minutes early. This gives you that extra time to plan for the day or get caught up with current events.
A fourth way is to write down assignments on a weekly project planner so you don't forget them. If you try to remember all your assignments in your head, you won't do a good job of remembering.
A final way to get more time in your day is to do more in less time by being efficient. For example, when going on errands, plan the trip so you can do many of them at once instead of one at a time.
