Describe the Triarchic Psychopathy Model.
What will be an ideal response?
The Triarchic Psychopathy model focuses on three dimensions. Meanness refers to cruel physical or verbal behavior toward others. It can be associated with callous-unemotionality. Disinhibition/externalizing proneness involves poor self-regulation, impulsivity, and irresponsibility.
Unreasonable risk taking and hostility are also associated with this dimension. Boldness is also called fearless dominance and consists of charisma, low stress reactivity, and novelty seeking behavior. Boldness may also be considered an adaptive behavior. The Triarchic model has received support in the U.S.
