Explain the structure of a góralski dance suite
What will be an ideal response?
• The focus is on a single man and woman as they dance to a sequence of different dance tunes/genres.
• The male dancer exercises considerable control, determining both the dance tunes and their length; the woman may express herself by the way she dances.
• After the beginning of the dance suite when a second male dancer "turns" the female onto the dance area, a group of women usually reintroduce the female dancer to the dance area for each subsequent dance. During the last dance when the male dancer "turns" the female dancer the suite ends.
