Describe the basic structures of the different forms of city government and explain the primary differences among them. Under which form would you prefer to live? Why?

What will be an ideal response?

An ideal response will:
1. Describe the structures of the mayor-council, council-manager, and commission forms of government. Within the mayor-council form, compare the weak mayor and strong mayor systems.
2. Within each of these systems, explain how city leaders are chosen, which leaders have which powers, how policy is made, and how policy is implemented.
3. Select a form of government that is appropriate for the place you live and explain why you would like to live under that form of government.
