Explain how a vasectomy would prevent the male from impregnating a female

What will be an ideal response?

Spermatozoa go from the epididymis into the vas deferens during ejaculation. Surgical removal of a portion of the vas deferens prevents the spermatozoa from becoming part of the ejaculate. Without spermatozoa in the ejaculated fluid, a man cannot get a woman pregnant.
