Based on your textbook reading, answer this question: Why does nonverbal communication matter?

What will be an ideal response?

Nonverbal communication matters because these messages convey feelings and attitudes more believably than verbal communication. Nonverbal communication also matters because nonverbal messages are more convincing than verbal messages, and how someone responds nonverbally can tell us a lot about who a person is and what they are feeling, more so than verbal communication can do alone.
