How does higher RPM and increased turbulence in the combustion chamber affect ignition advance?
What will be an ideal response?
As engine RPM increases the crankshaft turns through more degrees in a given period of time and ignition timing must be advanced in order for combustion to be completed but, higher RPM also means that turbulence in the combustion chamber is greater which requires slightly retarded ignition timing.
