When developing objectives, the PR practitioner will gather a variety of perspectives from within the organization. Why is this important and how might this effort affect the objectives?

What will be an ideal response?

The role of a practitioner is to gather a variety of perspectives on the challenge or
opportunity, as well as potential objectives. With that in mind, these may not always be
the best communication objectives for that particular moment. Approved objectives also
often reflect--for better or worse--the organization’s internal politics, personalities, and
priorities.
