What will be an ideal response?


In its Roper v. Simmons decision, the Supreme Court ruled that national "evolving standards of decency" no longer justified the execution of juvenile offenders. Such offenders are understood to be less blameworthy than adults because of various issues relating to immaturity and irresponsibility.
