Discuss the contribution of vasodilation to the inflammatory response

What will be an ideal response?

Vasodilation involves inflammatory mediators such as histamine and bradykinin. These vasodilators relax the smooth muscle in arterioles supplying damaged tissue, causing the vessels to "open up" and blood to flow through them more freely. As a result, blood flow to the damaged tissue increases.
