There's much to talk about here, including the illusion of having lots of free time, the large amount of reading required, the responsibility students are given to arrange for accomplishing their course work, and the temptations provided by their new environment. Planning involves more than time management, and students could also consider their career goals and/or how they intend to clarify these goals.
