Explain the main points of constructivist perspectives on sexuality.

What will be an ideal response?

Social constructivism rejects the innate nature of sexuality and instead treats it as a human
product. Therefore, constructivists observe sex through the prism of culture, often emphasizing political perspectives, oppression, and the role of upper segments of society in defining different constructs. Constructivist perspectives consider gender to be a malleable social construct, and they support freedom from predefined gender roles, especially concerning women. Many marginalized sexual groups are also observed through this prism—as products of constructions that can be deconstructed.
