This is known as “ecological adaptation.” The factor of “biological effects” focuses on the influences of nutrition, physical and mental development, conveyed through participation in a culture, on learning. And last, overt forms of “language,” such as pronunciation, vocabulary, inflection, as well as the unstated aspects of communication, are important influences on how students learn.
