Define database file, table, record, and field

What will be an ideal response?

A database file holds all related information on an entity—for example, a medical practice. Within each file, there can be several tables. Each table holds related information; one table might hold information on a practice's doctors, another information on its patients, and another on its insurance carriers. A table is made up of related records. Each record holds all the information on one item in a table—for example, one patient. Each patient has a record in the practice's patient table. All the information on one patient makes up that patient's record. Each record is made up of related fields. One field holds one piece of information.
