If the least wealthy person in a society has millions of dollars, should we still consider that person poor?
What will be an ideal response?
If we are using a relative measure of poverty and this person has the lowest income in society,
then by certain measures he/she is poor. On the other hand, if we use an absolute measure
and we have a cut off of say $30,000 then this person would not be considered poor. We also
need to take into account the number of dependents that this person is responsible for.
