Describe how forced air systems function.

What will be an ideal response?

Forced air systems all function by drawing air from the home's interior into a furnace where it is heated and then blown out again into the home through heating registers connected to the furnace by metal ducts. All forced air-heating systems rely on the continual transfer of air from the home's interior to the furnace (where it's heated) and back again. They keep the air temperature in the room comfortable by heating the air itself.
