Describe the difference between subliminal perception and subliminal persuasion

Please provide the best answer for the statement.

Subliminal perception is when sensation falls below the absolute threshold, whereas using subliminal techniques to influence people’s behaviors is considered subliminal persuasion. Just because something is perceived subliminally doesn’t necessarily mean it will subliminally persuade someone to think or behave differently.
