What are the benefits of stucco cladding?
What will be an ideal response?
(i) Because of its light weight, stucco is preferred in seismic regions. (ii) Being an adhered cladding, it is better able
to resist seismic vibrations than an anchored cladding, such as brick veneer. (iii) Being a non-synthetic cladding, it
allows water vapor to pass through, helping it to dry quickly unlike a synthetic cladding like EIFS. (iv) A large
variety of colors are available in stucco finish coat, generally the same as EIFS finish coat.
