Discuss the differences between blister packaging and skin packaging

Blister packaging forms a pocket of stiff plastic material in a standard thermoforming method. The pocket is filled with the product and then sealed. Skin packs are made with a flexible plastic that is formed over the top of the part and the display card by drawing a vacuum through holes in the card. The skin pack is, therefore, tight against the product and the card whereas the blister pack is not tight against the product, but allows some movement of the product inside the pocket
