List and describe the three types of plate boundaries. Give one geographic example of each

What will be an ideal response?

Divergent plate boundaries exist where plates move away from one another. Examples include any mid-ocean ridge, such as the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, or the East Pacific Rise.
Convergent plate boundaries exist where the plates move toward one another. Examples include the Pacific Northwest continental margin, (Oregon and Washington), Himalayas, "ring of fire" locations around the Pacific Ocean, etc.
Transform plate boundaries exist where plates slide past one another. Examples include the San Andreas Fault in California, and transform segments along mid-ocean ridge systems.
