Explain how the diversification of mammals may have been greatly aided by the diversification of the angiosperms, and vice versa
What will be an ideal response?
Angiosperms, much more so than gymnosperms, make a lot of food for mammals (fruits, nuts, seeds, berries, nectar, flowers, and soft leaves). As a primary food source, when the angiosperms evolved and diversified, so too could the mammals. Mammals also play a large role in seed dispersal and pollination, which may have assisted in the diversification of the angiosperms.
