Use May's concepts of responsibility and authenticity to explain Katherine's lifestyle changes.
What will be an ideal response?
May suggested that we all are responsible for who we are and what we become. In other words, that we control what our lives are like. Katherine's taking charge of her life by joining the support group and starting her own business demonstrates her sense of responsibility for her own happiness. She also demonstrates May's concept of authenticity because she is living life according to her own value system, i.e., the definition of authenticity.
