Precounter- child has not verbal counting, does not use number words when responding to how many.
Reciter – counts using number words, but not always in the right order , they may use more number words than the number of objects they are counting.
Corresponder- can make one-to-one correspondence with numbers and objects but when asked "How many?" recounts.
