With the halo effect, we attribute a variety of positive qualities to a person we like
without personally confirming the existence of these qualities. Conversely, with the horn effect,
we might decide that a person we don't like is selfish or stingy and we attribute a variety of
negative qualities to that individual, using implicit personality theory.
